City Residents:
Help
Us, Help You!
Our
Helping Hands program provides assistance to seniors, the physically
disabled, and low-income homeowners by performing
small home repair
and home improvement projects. The homeowner is responsible
for providing the materials and the Helping Hands program will
provide the labor
and construction expertise. In some cases, the cost of the
materials
can be subsized.
At
this time we are seeking two or three Sun City homes. Duel projects
will be considered when projects are in close proximity to another.
Projects will be scheduled for March, April and May. Examples of
projects include
Yard
and weed cleanup and removal, (
no tree trimming at this time.)
Light painting, fences etc..
For
more information, contact, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley
at (951) 296-3362 or complete an on-line
Helping Hands application found under the Helping Hands tab.

Way Completed
In Temecula
On May 3rd, over 225 people gathered in celebration
of the completion of the five Habitat Way homes located in Old
town Temecula. The House Dedication ceremony featured recognition
for supporters, introduction of homeowners and a special award,
the Brent Eskildsen Humanitarian Award, given to three worthy recipients
who essentially spearheaded the project. The sometimes emotional
ceremony was highlighted by a special thank you given by the homeowners.
After the ceremony, attendees were invited to tour the completed
homes.
