In Temecula

On May 3rd, over 225 people gathered in celebration of the completion of the five Habitat Way homes located in Old town Temecula. The House Dedication ceremony featured recognition for supporters, introduction of homeowners and a special award, the Brent Eskildsen Humanitarian Award, given to three worthy recipients who essentially spearheaded the project. The sometimes emotional ceremony was highlighted by a special thank you given by the homeowners. After the ceremony, attendees were invited to tour the completed homes.

The Building Futures Project Program is Underway!
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley recently gave a pre-construction safety training with the young apprentices from Building Futures program, a program in partnership with Safe Alternatives for Everyone (S.A.F.E.). Program participants will be helping with the building of five houses on Habitat Way on Pujol and 1st Streets in Old Town Temecula later this summer. Pictured to the right areare Lauren, Sergeant Bill, and Jourdan.
